In a bid to bolster its foothold in the Egyptian market and foster a more dynamic work environment, Foodics, a leading provider of restaurant management solutions and electronic payments across the Middle East and North Africa, has unveiled its latest venture — a new office in New Cairo, Egypt.

The inauguration ceremony, attended by dignitaries including Anwar Bin Hassa, Saudi Commercial Attaché, and Foodics’ co-founder and CEO Ahmed Al-Zaini, marks a significant stride in the company’s expansion strategy within Egypt. This move underscores Foodics’ commitment to sustained growth while prioritizing operational efficiency and employee support.

Ahmed Al-Zaini expressed his pride in the milestone, stating, “We are proud to announce the opening of our new headquarters in Egypt, which represents a milestone in our continuing growth journey. We are confident that this strategic step will greatly enhance our presence in the Egyptian market, allowing us to provide the best services to our customers.”

This expansion aligns with Egypt’s vision for digital transformation by enriching the local market with innovative solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the restaurant and café sector. Bilal Zahran, General Manager of Foodex Egypt, emphasized the company’s dedication to delivering high-quality solutions, stating, “The opening of this office is not only a move to a new workplace, but it reflects our commitment to continuing to provide high-quality solutions and services specifically designed to meet the unique needs of our customers in the Egyptian market.”

Foodics Egypt has experienced substantial growth in recent years, witnessing a three-fold increase in business volume annually and achieving remarkable growth rates, particularly in the first quarter of 2024. What began with a small team serving a limited area in Cairo has now burgeoned to approximately 100 employees catering to over 15 governorates. Zahran hailed this as a defining moment for the company, signaling a renewed vigor to innovate and evolve alongside Egypt’s vibrant restaurant and café sector.

The suite of solutions offered by Foodics caters directly to the requirements of Egypt’s hospitality industry. This includes a cloud-based Restaurant Management System (RMS) and a comprehensive Point-of-Sale (POS) system that streamlines operations from order processing to inventory management. Additionally, the Foodics Online system facilitates direct electronic ordering and payment, eliminating intermediaries. The Foodics Kiosk system further enhances efficiency and profitability by enabling self-ordering and payment.

Furthermore, Foodics recently introduced the Foodics Accounting Service, a specialized accounting solution tailored for managing financial data. The company’s App Store offers a selection of external applications that seamlessly integrate with Foodics systems, enhancing the overall management experience for restaurant and café owners.

The inauguration of Foodics’ new office in New Cairo underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to innovation, customer service, and market expansion, positioning it as a frontrunner in Egypt’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.
